Your groceries. Your portion. A simpler food log.

You already know the foods you buy. EatStride helps you turn those familiar choices into a record of what you actually ate—and a starting point for your next meal.

Counts toward your totals

Start with what’s actually in your kitchen

Open Find food → Food at home. Add a grocery manually, paste a receipt, or import from Gmail if your account has beta access. Select only the items you received and still have. An order can include food for other people, substitutions, or things you’ve already finished.

Log your portion, not the whole package

Choose the food you ate and review its nutrition and serving size. If nutrition is missing, find a matching food or enter the package label first. Check the brand and preparation—raw chicken and cooked chicken are different entries.

ILLUSTRATIVE LABEL · NOT A PRODUCT CLAIM

A little hummus, not the entire tub

Suppose a label says 70 kcal and 2 g protein per 2 tablespoons. If you ate 4 tablespoons, that is 2 label servings: 140 kcal and 4 g protein. Use your own package’s values, then confirm the amount before adding it to your log.

Make the next choice easier

Save foods you eat often so you can reuse them and change the portion next time. When you’re hungry, check what’s left in your day and what you have at home. A suggestion is a starting point; review the food and amount before logging it.
